Eat Healthy and Be Healthy
We all want to improve ourselves. It’s not just about the weight anymore. It’s about feeling Healthier and attaining Wellness.
We’ve all tried to go on diets and get rid of those unwanted pounds so we can fit into a certain dress for a special event. Then the incredible happens! The weight we thought we lost finds us again and brought along some friends!!! That’s when we scream “what happened. I tried so hard”.
Maybe it’s time to take a step back and refocus our goals. A lot of the time we are resentful of the things we can’t do while dieting. Nobody likes getting told no. No body!!! We need to refocus and rethink of all the things we can do. It’s not about the diet which your body thinks of as temporary. It’s about creating a healthier environment where you know you can say yes to yourself. Yes I can eat this and yes I can eat that and this simple little thing makes us feel good.
Also, when you stock your pantry and refrigerator with healthy foods you can go in at any time and get a healthy snack. Set aside time to clean out all of the unhealthy foods and snacks you have and buy fresh fruits and nuts. Your body loves healthy foods and will reward you with so much more energy. The very best thing you can do is to plan ahead so you can succeed on a Path of Wellness.
The cleaner you eat the leaner your body will be. It’s that simple. Set a goal for the rest of the year to eat as healthy as possible. Instead of French fries eat oven roasted red potatoes or sweet potatoes drizzled with Olive oil and a light seasoning. It’s delicious. You do need healthy oils in your body...not fried oils. While you’re at it add a healthy piece of fish or chicken and a small salad. Your body will be refueled and not stuffed. Trust me , you will feel so much better and have so much more energy.
It’s all up to you. What you allow in your body is your choice. Eating healthier is a way of life and you won’t have to diet ever again. And besides that your skin will glow, your energy will be higher, and you will be proud and happy with your body. You will definitely have the energy to work out and stress less. Remember this too. If you feel hungry a lot of the time it’s your body’s way of saying it’s thirsty. Drink more water and eat small portions of healthy food. You will feel so much better.
Take care of your body, it is the only one you’ve got.
