A Simpler Pathway
Tana's Tip Of The Month: A Simpler Pathway
Has your life gotten a little more hectic lately? With getting the kids ready to go back to school and all the things you’ve amassed over the summer and no time to deal with all the things you need to get done it’s no surprise. What about all the “to do” lists you’ve made? Are you getting tired just thinking about it?
I have a suggestion or two. How about aiming for a simpler approach to life. It will give you more time to spend with those you treasure most. Like your kids, your spouse, or even yourself.
Here’s a few ideas. Clean out and organize some pesky closets or drawers that sabotage your time when you are looking for one single item and spend what seems like hours and still don’t find what you are looking for.
Get rid of any cosmetics older that six months old. You certainly wouldn’t want to use them on your face and they are just taking up space.
Clean out your winter closets. There are a lot of people that can use anything you are not using and be so thankful for getting it. You don’t even have to take anything to a donation site. Call the Goodwill, Salvation Army, American Vets, or a host of many others. They will be happy to come and pick things up.
Donate or swap the books you have read so that someone else can enjoy them.
Another nice and simple thing to do is to take a nice walk in an area that you feel comfortable in. It’s a great way to relax while getting some fresh air and clearing your mind.
Putting on some relaxing music and letting your mind and body relax is a really simple and easy thing to do. Remember to do some nice healing deep breathing too. Doing this can help you get a mini core workout as an added bonus.
These are just a few suggestions to make your life a little simpler, have more energy, and a little more pep in your step. You will also tackle your day with more abundance and gratitude.
Be Well,
Tana
