Daily Bliss
What is Daily Bliss? Is it a matter of waking up each morning and having an Attitude of Gratitude. Knowing the more we offer thanks the more we will likely receive it?
While some of us wake up each morning groaning that the alarm clock has gone off early again, others realize that it is important to wake up and give thanks for another day. Another day of simply waking up and having the outlook of having even a better day than yesterday. Try that sometime.
While we all strive to be better on a daily basis by eating healthier, exercising more, and drinking more water, it is also very important to monitor how we think and feel on a daily basis.
A young friend of mine was telling me how proud of herself she is for changing her diet and enhancing her exercise program. She also mentioned that she was proud of what she had given up for Lent. While most of those who give things up for Lent choose chocolate or alcohol or even sugary carbs, she chose to eliminate Negative Thinking. Specifically self doubt. Well, that got me to thinking. How many of us don't realize that nasty little negative thoughts can hold us back on a daily basis. It made me realize that we really need to focus on positive and empowering thoughts so we can feel good about ourselves and better about life in general.
Try complimenting yourself for even the simplest of things. It will swing your energy into a more positive state. Give yourself a pat on the back for giving earnest compliments to others for a job well done even if you could have done it better.
Realize how much more potent your subconscious mind is than your conscious mind is. Remember how strong your own inner voice is and use it in a positive way. If we focus on the positive energy we have and share it with those around us then it becomes a win-win situation for all concerned.
So as each new day comes, wake up with an Attitude of Gratitude and an Attitude of Positive Thinking. When we all do this, the world will be a happier place.
Start each day with a dose of Daily Bliss. It will do your body good.
Be Well,
