Food For Thought

Remember the term “food for thought”? Where have your thoughts been lately? Have they been happy, positive, or maybe a little negative?

Make sure you keep track of what’s going on in your mind. If you keep your thoughts focused on the negative, you bring about a sad or unhealthy energy that seems to keep pulsing around you. It is really harmful to you, your body, and not much fun for those around you. If you are doing this you need to strive to bring some positive thoughts and energy into your world.

We can all get caught up in the frustrating things going on in the world today and feel that we can’t change much. Yet if we strive to change our own attitudes it not only changes our own inner circle (family, friends, and coworkers) but it truly has a ripple effect on others. We can’t always change how others feel but if you really try to have a more positive outlook it may keep you from bringing in someone else’s bad karma.

Our thought processes are so strong it’s almost as if we are sending radio waves to those around us. Just like our cell phones we all have towers that we ping off of and can have a real change of environment by our own attitudes.

Most of us love to people watch and it’s always interesting to see the dynamics of energy or lack of energy in those around us. Body language tells a lot about our moods. When you are in a crowd of happy people it is really fun but it gets very nerve racking if that crowd gets unruly.

It’s true that there are those people that will never be happy or satisfied and will always be negative. How we react to those people is truly our own choice. Don’t let their unhappiness affect you so that you share their bad energy with others.

Please stay focused on being and staying happy and positive. A happy mind and body can not only help you but it can help others too.

Now that is truly “food for thought”.

Stay healthy and be well,

Tana
