Gratitude With A Grateful Heart

After a fast paced year, fall is finally here. Hopefully you survived the year in great shape while staying healthy and happy. Please don't forget to show your Gratitude and Thanks to your friends, family, and yourself. It's so important to keep the good energy and vibrations coming your way.

I just spent the last seven years taking care of elderly parents who were both ill. I went through a lot of difficult emotions, but survived those times because I have a strong and healthy Spiritual, Mental, and Emotional foundation. Of course, the support of my husband, family, and a supportive clientele and friends made it an easier journey. I learned that the life and journey of a caretaker isn't easy but it can be very rewarding given the right attitude.

When I was at a low point, a dear friend shared an invaluable piece of advice. If you don't laugh, you cry. I will forever be grateful for those words of wisdom. That simple outlook changed things inside my brain and changed my energy. I honestly feel I became a better caretaker, not only of my parents, but also of myself. I didn't take myself too seriously and actually began taking better care of me. That was good.

Both of my parents are reunited in Heaven now and my life is so much richer for having spent all the special times through the years with them.

In tough times it is so important that we live in the moment...not the past or the future.

I feel that I am a better person for showing and feeling my gratitude every single day. For the most part I feel like I am stronger and calmer every day.

I look forward to seeing all of you again with a renewed sense of Spirit.

Remember to show and share your Gratitude with a Grateful Heart everyday!!!

Staying in touch,

Tana
