I know it might sound a little corny but by keeping your body moving you help keep yourself healthier. The more you move around the more you stimulate your Lymphatic System and by stimulating your Lymphatic System you help move the toxins in your body to where they don’t get stagnant and develop into ugly toxins that are visible from the outside of your body...known as Cellulite. A lot of us know what Cellulite looks like and feels like.
There are ways to combat this nemesis and it’s not as hard as you think. You do have to make some lifestyle changes though. Think of it as being healthier. As a side benefit you will become healthier on the inside as well as more beautiful on the outside. Make a one month commitment and see if you don’t look and feel better. Here are a few suggestions:
Drink more water. I know you hear me say that all the time but water is such a vital part of your health. Think of water as the Fountain of Youth. The best moisturizers that money can buy can’t do their job if you are not hydrated from within. Try to drink at least 64 oz a day and that does not include coffee, soda, or tea. Nothing replaces water like water.
Eat whole foods. This means to eliminate as much packaged foods as possible. Eat the way nature intended you to eat. Raw foods such as salads, juicing, fruits and vegetables , and the least amount of white food as possible. Think of it as eating from a colorful picture. Bread in moderation is fine but it should be whole grain. That way your body doesn’t have to overwork to process it.
Movement. Move, move, move! Your body has your heart to pump your blood around but you still need to move around to help your circulation. Your Lymphatic System needs movement. That is why massage is so beneficial. It not only feels great but it gets things moving. Massage also stimulates your Lymphatic System and helps keeps things processed along the way.
