Spring Forward With Intention
At the beginning of the year we all set goals. Whether it’s to lose weight, change jobs, or to eat healthier. But almost all of us have the tendency to slack off by Springtime. Maybe it’s because we lose our focus and just end up setting more goals. Whatever the reason, goals have a way of getting lost in the everyday shuffle of living. Maybe now is the time to change your outlook. Remember, to change your life you must change your view.
Let’s change our focus to our intentions. Let’s use the word intention as a synonym for the word goal. It feels like there is more sincerity in the thought process. When it becomes more personal to you it becomes easier to achieve. Nobody can change your intentions without your permission. Not even you.
Ask yourself what your intentions are and why they are important. Healthier lifestyles, more positive family time, more energy, and less stress could be the end result. The intended outcome is the important thing.
Make the time to make a list of intentions. Even a “make it happen” list is good. Keep it simple but be specific. If you want to acquire something then determining color, size and style are all important factors. Pictures help because they are a good visual. But again be specific about what your intentions are. When you do these things you automatically bring a stronger energy into making something happen. It will actually validate the energy that brings that intended thing closer. Remember this. Anything that brings more positive energy into your life is a good thing.
When you achieve your intention, acknowledge it . Do your little happy dance. Go to the mirror and tell yourself how proud you are of this accomplishment. This is letting your own energy have really positive feedback. It’s kind of like getting that gold star when you were a kid. Remember how good that felt. Go ahead, you deserve it.
Be Well,
